A super evening at the mayor making ceremony at Bridgnorth Town Hall on Thursday 12 May. Best of luck to incoming mayor Vanessa Voysey, and deputy Mayor Ron Whittle OBE. Thank you to David Cooper for his service to the town for this past year as Mayor.
There was also deserved recognition for ‘puff’ the Bridgnorth dragon – aka Dana Power- who has raised over £20,000 for Asthma UK Cameron’s Fund. 15 year old Anna Overton was awarded the Davies Shield by the outgoing Mayor in recognition for her volunteer work coaching and refereeing football.
Welcome!
Love Bridgnorth has been set up to promote and celebrate all that we cherish about our wonderful town. With events, film reviews, food reviews and local new items covered.
The Twitter and Facebook pages have already proved popular with local people engaging and supplying items themselves - which is how we envisage Love Bridgnorth progressing - into a Community Interest group created by and for the local community.
