Food & Drink Peepo Pizza
Peepo, Bridgnorth

Popped in for a post exam stress-busting lunch to Peepo, High Street, Bridgnorth and was delighted to find the place with a refurbishment in full swing – it will be a much brighter and funkier place with the new look. This place is famed for their wonderful pizzas and fantastic cocktails.
We wanted to go for the £5 lunch deal but instead ordered a baguette (£7.50 to include fries and salad) and a chicken pesto pizza (£8). The pizza although pretty small at 9″ made up for its small size by being, as usual, simply yummy – thin crispy crust and delicious flavour combination. Although we ordered the Cumberland sausage baguette – a flame grilled chicken one arrived – it didn’t matter too much we were happy with the alternative; having said that the waitress was most apologetic and did offer to change it. The baguette itself was nothing to write home about – I’ll stick to pizzas in the future – that is what they do best here. If you go now, you may be sitting amongst the dust sheets (I was surprised that people seemed happy with this arrangement) but when it’s completed the newly decorated Peepo is worth another look.
Will appeal to all ages – but be prepared to do a bit of work to navigate your way through this deal and that deal.
