Bridgnorth Running Club has just opened entries for ‘The Bridgnorth 10k’ which takes place on Sunday 30 October. This fabulous event which is fast becoming a regular fixture in the Bridgnorth sporting calendar, will see runners from near and far visit Bridgnorth to compete.
There will be the usual Halloween market along with the race and the High Street will be closed for the day.
The race will start at 11am and is an undulating ten kilometre road route through our historic Shropshire market town of Bridgnorth, taking in some fabulous scenery and some challenging hills – and it will start and finish at the Town Hall. The route is fully marshalled and sign posted with a water station at the halfway point.
There will be a souvenir medal for all finishers and there’s a limit of 350 entries. Online entry is £14 for affiliated runners and £16 for independents. Registration is from 9-10.30am and race numbers with timing chips are collected on the day at registration.
