Pheasant Neenton in running for top award

We’re pretty good here in Bridgnorth at winning awards:
Britain in Bloom, Roobarb with numerous British Independent Retailers awards, Shropshire Business Awards for Grainger and Worral, David Dexters and Bridgnorth Aluminium and of course the Great British High Street….

Now it’s the turn of the The Pheasant at Neenton – shortlisted as a National Finalist for the Great British Pub Awards – the equivalent of the ‘Oscars’ for UK pubs.

The Pheasant, owned as a social enterprise by local people, but professionally run by talented hospitality professionals Mark Harris (Head Chef) and Sarah Cowley.

The Final Awards will be presented at a gala black-tie dinner in London in September after a judges visit.

Sarah says; “We’re just thrilled – we give everyone the same welcome, whether they’re in a tiara or wellies! We all try to make every customer glad they came, sorry to leave, and impatient to come back.”
